The Biotechnology Industry Organization (BIO), a leader in industrial biotechnology is pleased to announce the third annual Pacific Rim Summit on Industrial Biotechnology and Bioenergy. This meeting will continue and expand the essential exchange between industry, academia and government that has been so successful at the World Congress on Industrial Biotechnology and Bioprocessing.
Oceans 08

BCIC is pleased to be sponsoring Oceans '08, a conference centered on "Oceans, Poles and Climate: Technological Challenges". The conference will enable scientists and engineers from all over the world to discuss and debate the technological challenges raised by the study of the on-going transformation of Polar and non-polar oceans. Plenary sessions will feature speakers discussing the upcoming challenges facing the oceanic community and what steps their organizations are taking to address them.
Maritime Security Challenges (MSC) Conference

Hosted by Maritime Forces Pacific (MARPAC) with the support of BCIC, this conference brings together subject matter experts and security practitioners from around the world to consider the most complex and challenging issues facing navies in the Asia-Pacific region. BC Science Outreach Fair & Brighouse Science Bash

In celebration of National Science and Technology Week, BCIC is partnering with the Richmond Public Library and various government department sponsors to host this engaging Science Bash. Last year, more than 1,600 students enjoyed interactive and educational activities. New this year is the arrival of the 3rd annual BC Science Outreach Fair, where science and technology outreach organizations in B.C. will be exhibiting the various services and programs available.
