Fuelling the Economy of the Future | Engineering Symposium

Competition for science and engineering talent is intensifying worldwide. Hosted by UBC Okanagan with support from BCIC and other Southern Interior organizations, this symposium will heighten awareness of science and engineering education, and build stronger connections within the K-PhD education system and industry.
BioMarine 2008

BioMarine 2008 is a unique 5-day international forum which brings together the business, scientific and political communities to draw out innovative and concrete solutions to advance ocean sustainability. The conference will also be a major maritime event of the French Presidency of the European Union and will be designed as a media communication platform raising international awareness on issues related to the sea and the oceans. BCIC is pleased to be attending in preparation for Vancouver's turn to host BioMarine in 2009.
