Building Momentum in Vancouver:
Lessons for a Young Entrepreneur
Dr. Geordie Rose, Founder & CTO, D-Wave Systems
Dr. Georgie Rose will be discussing his rise as an entrepreneur founding and building a successful quantum computing company, from establishing a leadership position in his field to raising numerous round of financing. He will go on to discuss Vancouver's transition into a hub for technology entrepreneurs over the past decade, and how young entrepreneurs can use this to their advantage.
Battle of the Screencasts
VEF Momentum is looking for video pitches or product screencasts from local technology entrepreneurs or aspiring entrepreneurs armed with business plans. If you have a business or business plan to pitch, this is a valuable opportunity to gain publicity, feedback and support as the best pitches will be featured at the September 30th "State of Entrepreneurship" event. The winner will walk away with some valuable one-on-one time with local prominent entrepreneurs and investors.
